Russell A.S. Wirth graduated valedictorian from Georgetown University with a B.A.,
summa cum laude, in 2019, as a Georgetown College of Arts & Sciences Marshal. He majored in Government, and double minored in Sociology and History, centering his studies upon American history, law, politics, and society. He is the recipient of the Georgetown Connecticut Alumni Association Medal for Top Performance in the Department of Government. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha (The National Government Honors Society), Alpha Kappa Delta (The National Sociology Honors Society), and Phi Alpha Theta (The National History Honors Society).
Russell interned for the Honorable Paul M. Haakenson, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California for Marin County, the Honorable Congressman Jared W. Huffman [CA-2], the Human Rights Campaign, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, and the Honorable Dorothy C. Proudfoot, Deputy District Attorney for Marin County, California. While at Georgetown, he served as Executive Co-Chair of the Georgetown Honor Council, as well as Councilor and Chair of the Georgetown University Student Association Constitutional Council. He was also a member of Georgetown Mock Trial.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Russell’s passions include hiking, biking, and Sunday brunch.
