Juliet L. Fink

Juliet L. Fink is an associate at Kostelanetz & Fink, LLP.  Her practice focuses on federal and state criminal and civil tax matters.  Ms. Fink counsels clients with audits, tax controversies, penalty issues, employment tax issues relating to worker misclassification and voluntary disclosures.  She also handles matters involving the IRS’s recent Voluntary Classification Settlement Program as well as the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program and has successfully negotiated for reduced FBAR penalties including the program’s 5% penalty framework.

Ms. Fink is also seasoned in effecting and managing legal guardianships under Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law; Article 81 proceedings seek the appointment of a personal needs guardian and/or a property management guardian to act on behalf of incapacitated individuals who are unable to care for their own personal or financial needs.

Ms. Fink received her B.A. from McGill University in 2003, and received her J.D. in 2007 from Brooklyn Law School.  From 2007 to 2009, Ms. Fink was an associate at Wachtel & Masyr, where she practiced in the area of civil and commercial litigation.  During that time, Ms. Fink worked on federal and state cases dealing with issues including the interpretation of contract provisions, personal jurisdiction over Native American Tribes, estate disputes, and landlord-tenant disputes.
