Some tax issues can be very complex. However, accounting for tax consequences in a matrimonial case can be relatively straightforward.

This program outlined a practical way to account for tax issues as part of equitable distribution and explored issues such as when to file an amended return, the rules for reporting a spouse to the IRS and how to allocate tax liabilities between spouses.
